Yucatan State


Among the main productive activities carried out in the state are: commerce; building; food industry; information in mass media; and real estate services and rental of movable and intangible assets.

The boards represent 62.0% of the state GDP.The entity's strategic sectors are: logistics, information technology, innovation, tourism, agribusiness, and renewable energy.

In the area of ​​productive infrastructure, Yucatan has 11 industrial and/or technological parks, 12 ports, two international airports and two airfields.According to the Doing Business 2016 report, published by the World Bank Group, which classifies economies by their ease of doing business, the state of Yucatan ranks 18th in Mexico.Likewise, when disaggregating this indicator, it is observed that Yucatan occupies the 4th place for opening a company; 16th regarding obtaining construction permits; 24th in property registration; and the 19th in fulfillment of contracts.
